To configure SmartFTP to work with your site please do the following:

1. Fill the address, login and password on the top of the screen with the FTP address, username and password which is for your site:


2. Click the Go button (white and green arrow):


3. If you have a cPanel control panel you need to upload your files in the public_html folder which is created by default on your hosting:


4. If you have a Plesk control panel you need to upload your files in the httpdocs folder which is created by default on your hosting:


5. You need to have a file named index.html, index.htm or index.php depending on the technology you use to create your site.
