Entourage setup for POP3 email account


First you must have Entourage installed correctly on your computer.
Go to Tools --> Accounts.
Click New. Select Account type


Follow the instructions in the Account Setup Assistant to set up the account.


Configure account manually Select "temp user account (POP)" and click Edit
Fill the fields:
  • Account Name - any name for the account
  • Name - the name that will appear on the emails you will send
  • E-mail address - the POP3 email account
  • Account ID - your username for the email account
  • POP Server - the POP3 email server
  • Password - the password for your email account
  • Select "Save password in my Mac OS keychain"
  • SMTP server - the SMTP server of your ISP

Click OK
